Sell your unwanted items
There are many ways in which you can sell your unwanted bits and pieces and raise crucial funds to help vulnerable orphans, who are forced to live in the most
appalling conditions around the world.
Car boot sales
There are car boot sales and Sunday markets in every town in the UK. Fill your car up with anything that you don't need and get yourself to
one of these markets and start raising money. |
School fetes
Although the money for most goods sold at fetes goes to the school, you can arrange to split the funds between Save An Orphan and the school,
thereby helping the two organisations. |
Garage sales
Ask friends and family to bring their unwanted goods and set up shop in your garage or garden. Try to make some colourful, eye catching signs
to encourage passers by to come and buy. |
Sell on eBay
You can sell all those things that are lying in your attic on eBay. Then donate the proceeds to Save An Orphan and help save lives. |
These are just a few ways to sell your clutter. Remember, every penny that you give will make a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged orphans.
Fundraising at school
Help Save An Orphan raise money by getting your school involved. Together we can give disadvantaged orphans an education to pave their way into adulthood. School
children are brimming with enthusiasm and are always ready to help other children who are less fortunate than they are. Here are just a few ideas on how your school can get involved:
Organise a sponsored walk
Children have, seemingly, an inexhaustible supply of energy, release this energy by taking them for a sponsored walk around the local park.
They can get friends and family to sponsor their walk. |
Organise a sports competition
Organise any sort of sports tournament and sell tickets to parents and guardians to come and watch their child take part. |
Non-uniform days
Children love not having to wear school uniform. Each child can pay a small amount to be able to wear the clothes of their choice to school. |
Artwork auctions
Organise an Artwork Auction and sell art to the highest bidder. |
There are loads more ways to get your school involved, the only limit is your imagination. Get creative, have fun and raise lots of money! If you're stuck for ideas, we'll be happy to
help, simply email us at volunteer@saveanorphan.org

lives of orphans.

The children that Save An Orphan helps will never have the chance to go to university, but with your help we can change that and ensure hat orphans get the education
to successfully grow to maturity.

Fundraising at your mosque
Our Beloved Prophet (pbuh) said, "the sponsors of an orphan and I shall walk in the Garden like these two fingers" and he held up his two fingers.
We want to give orphans the best chance in life, but this would not be possible without your support. Every penny that you raise will go towards our efforts
in helping neglected orphans.
Mosques are a great place to collect donations, they are the central point of the Muslim community and an effective place to spread the message of Save An Orphan.
Donation bucket and standing orders
Collect donations from people entering and exiting the mosque or get people to complete a monthly donation form |
Hold seminars
Hold seminars to educate people about the plight of neglected orphans |
Secondhand sale
Organise sales and raise money from your old Islamic CDs, Books and clothing |
Hand out leaflets
Hand our our leaflets and volunteer forms - and get even more people on board! |
Mosques are fundamental in raising funds and awareness for Save An Orphan, without the generosity of worshippers attending mosques we would not be able to carry on the work
