Why Bangladesh?
From the Hadith |
As Muslims we all have a duty to protect and guard orphans. It is narrated that our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said, "...the sponsor of an orphan
and I will walk in the Garden (Jannah) like these two fingers..." (Sahih Bukhari)
So where better to start helping children than Bangladesh, the country that is desperately in need of our help. |
|
Bangladesh is often neglected, most people around the world are simply content to to turn a blind eye on the suffering of the orphans there who have no choice
but to live in the most atrocious conditions possible, but we cannot turn a blind eye.
We cannot carry on as if we do not see the strife of the Bangladeshi orphans, we all must act and we must act NOW. We could save thousands of lives if only we
opened our eyes to see the troubles of the Bangladeshi children.
The geographical location of Bangladesh means that natural disasters occur nearly every year. Floods, cyclones, land erosion and diseases are killing thousands
of people every year, and orphaning many more. We are the only hope for these children, we need to act immediately.

The terrible conditions in which Bangladeshi orphans are forced to live is truly heart rending, they have to beg on the streets just to get their next meal, and
are often thrown into jail for their troubles.
It's hard to believe that in some parts of the world children are still being forced into this desperate and tragic lifestyle - through
no fault of their own.
Orphanages, having very limited resources, are up to their capacity limits and cannot cope with the demand of ever increasing numbers of orphans. The orphanages that
do exist lack the most basic of facilities such as clean water supplies or basic sanitation.
Children are often forced to wash and drink from dirty stagnant
ponds. The illnesses that follow are usually untreated because of a lack of medical supplies and trained staff.
Together we can save lives and offer these children a brighter future. If you would like to help Save An Orphan, please contact us
now or make a donation. |
