Our philosophy

Save An Orphan aims to drastically improve the living conditions for all orphans

We would like to see a world where orphans are given proper care and education to become self sufficient throughout their adult life
To promote a world where every child has the opportunity to lead a childhood free from abuse, discrimination and poverty
To provide healthcare and humane living conditions for orphans
To institute an immunisation programme in conjunction with a team of recognised health care professionals
To provide clean drinking water and sanitation facilities
To ensure orphans live in safe and secure place – a place they can call home
For orphans to be able to have a ‘childhood’ - in most developing countries children have to grow up early just so they can survive
To ensure carers will not exploit or abuse children
To train the orphanage staff in the areas of hygiene, management and education
