Education and empowerment
Education is the pathway to adulthood, therefore we must ensure that orphans receive the best start in life. Our primary focus will be to establish a play
and learning zone in each orphanage. Skills learnt during their childhood will allow them a better chance of escaping poverty and in turn becoming self sufficient.

We will have facilities for schooling where children can learn in a safe environment to bring out their full potential.
Such programmes of learning will continue
into adulthood and will include vocational training schemes and apprenticeships.
The staff are the most valuable asset in the orphanage therefore we will provide them with the relevant training to use equipment, to provide first aid, to
educate orphans and to provide vocational training for their future.
Although there are a number of orphanages where these facilities exist most are under-resourced and underfunded with staff having little or no training.
We will provide them with all the management skills to ensure that the orphanage is cost effective, well managed and thoroughly organised. |
